Mexico
Mexico authorises FRS-style licence-free use on the 462/467 MHz free-use frequencies, but dual-mode FRS/GMRS radios are not approved. We list Mexico for licence-free reference only — net coverage here is thin and we won't publish schedules we can't cite.
Spectrum regulator — the FCC equivalent
ATDT / former IFT
Mexican telecommunications regulator
Mexico's federal telecom regulator fills the FCC role; FMRE is the IARU member society.
National amateur society
FMRE
Federación Mexicana de Radioexperimentadores
Exams, band plans and the club network — the local counterpart to the ARRL.
Nets in Mexico
No nets published for Mexico yet. We add them once a national society or regulator source confirms the schedule and frequency.
Times are as published locally. Club and branch nets shift frequency and time more often than national broadcasts — always check the source link before you tune up.

Notes and gotchas
- Dual-mode FRS/GMRS equipment is not approved in Mexico, even though FRS-equivalent use is allowed.
- Some free-use channels carry restrictions within 150 km of an international border.
- No organised nets on the licence-free channels are documented; amateur nets exist but need Spanish-language primary sourcing before we publish them.
